The ASP Key Defender is a lightweight, low profile and easily carried keychain baton. It provides 2 Million Scoville Heat Units of Oleoresin Capsicum (pepper spray) protection at your fingertips! Made of durable aircraft grade aluminum for superior durability. The Key Defender also acts as a traditional kubaton, allowing you to hold the unit and jab the attacker or slash him with the keys. A Personal and Family Protection Must!

I carry this with me at all times. It is easy to use and even if the OC itself doesn't effect your assailant, your keys are attached to it so you can use a swiping motion to cut up your assailants face with the edging of your keys and the run to safety. I suggest this to all teenagers and females who "don't know how to defend" themselves.

I bought the Street Defender for my girlfriend, which is the same product but a longer baton. I test fired it, and coughed for about 5 minutes just on the "backwash" of the spray. Definitely would not want a face-full of this stuff. I also like that it doesn't look like a bottle of pepper spray so you won't get weird looks--it looks like a small flashlight, so it's totally inconspicuous.

Definitely on my shopping list for my wife and my daughter. They need something easy to use and almost invisible.

Carry one and love it. People don't know what it is, until they are rubbing their eyes.

I am a certified Kubaton instructor so read what bias youmay into this. I think this is the ideal civilian self-defense tool. If you know how to use it, it is extremely effective, if you get it taken away from you chances are the bad guy won't have a clue what to do with it.

    I cannot recomend this enough

Excellent personal defense tool for civilian, duty or off duty use. Can be used as an impact weapon (Kubtoan) Key Flail or OC dispenser. I like this product because it looks like a regular key chain so the attacker does not know what you are holding until he's grabbing his face. However, release the safety and hit the actuator and it releases about 14 blasts of 10% OC at 2 Million SHU. This is also available in a smaller size called the Palm Defender or larger size called Street Defender. It is also available in several colors (wife likes purple). I was sprayed with the smaller palm defender and was down for about 45 minutes with my head under water. I also like that if someone did get this away from you it's doubtful they will know that it's a pepper spray device. Most people think mine is a flashlight.
