Has Get up and Go. King cab has room for all your Gear. Pulls pretty good. put gets a little sluggish when trailering a big load. All and all it gets the job done.

Turning radius wasn't good, but prooved itself as a diverse piece of equipment. Great for hauling poached animals and other large evidence that wouldn't fit in your typical police car or SUV.

Good patrol vehicle. Goes lots of places that the cruisers (Chargers) can't. My only complaint is the governor on the truck. It's frustrating running code and not keeping up with freeway traffic.

As for a patrol vehicle I would not recomend this at all! The limited speed, top heavy, light rear end makes for a dangerous vehicle at any high speed. Yeah it goes down country roads, so do the newer police interceptors! Throw all your gear in the back seat, what do you really need a pickup bed for? Do you really haul that much evidence around? I have never used the bed in 5 years of driving one, except to throw a bike in. Tool box helps, but still not as good as the trunk on a police interceptor! The manufactures of equipment for police use just seem to have missed the F150! Not overall happy with a patrol unit that even an ambulance outruns!

I have the Ford F-150 King cab 4x4. This truck is amazing. Living in Spokane Washington and using this in the mountains. Towing has not been a problem for me at all. I haul 4 quads on a 30 foot trailer. I would suggest that you disable to idle sensor or your check engine light will come on and change the tires. Depending on where you go, might want to consider a higher ride then what is offered stock.
