When my friend Roland bought his first Kimber 1911 he was disappointed with the guns function. He told me he had misfeed after misfeed. The next day we went to our favorite gun range in Conroe "Shooters Station" and began to shoot. I watch Roland strugle with his gun. He wasn't limp wristing, we were using a name brand FMJ ammo, and the gun was clean. I then looked at his magazines. He bought some $5.00 generic 1911 magazines. These things were crap. I told him if your going to spend a grand on a gun at least spend $20 on some clips. So he bought some Wilson Combat Mags and his gun has become flawless.

Padded baseplate is an excellent feature, but the real greatness in this product is it's excellent an reliably smooth loading and feeding. This is the perfect magazine for any 1911.

I carry five 47Ds, and one ETM everyday. I wouldn't deploy with anything else.

    I don't like 1911's... at all.

But these are by far the best mags on the market for them.

If you like 1911's... get these mags.
