The Oklahoma Highway Patrol are thinking outside the box. The motorcycle unit envisioned a high-speed interceptor when a Hayabusa was seized. The project worked out so well they purchased a second to ride pairs. While these bikes have been a PR dream, they aren't just for show. The OHP uses the bikes mostly for high-speed, .limited-access turnpike enforcement.

I used to own a Busa, and will own another when money permits. Awesome bikes for what they are. Comfortable (I'm 6'10", 350+lbs, rode it all day before), powerful, and reliable. They are also ALOT more agile than people give them credit for.

This si an excelent pice of machinery, fast and ajial, comfortable ride and the ability to carry other gear is unlimited. Not good during the winter or during rain but perfect for dry climat areas.

What were the Oklahoma state police thinking?! LOL I used to own a Busa, thus my name sake, until a young girl ran into the back of me and totaled it and almost me! Anyways, this bike was a dream to ride. It was smooth, sexy, and wicked fast. It made me constantly glance at the speedo and think "Am I really going that fast?" It's like the baddest sport bike on the planet woke up one morning and sprinkled cocaine on its Corn Flakes instead of sugar. I would dare anyone who rides it to try an abide by the speed limit. The acceleration on this bike is brutal, and plain mind boggling. I can't wait till I can afford another one. It makes me want to leave Louisiana and move to Oklahoma just to join the state police motorcycle squad.
