This is the first hand gun that I have owned. I have tested a lot of different guns before getting it, and like this one the most for the size and weight. I have only had it a little over a year...and shot it ALOT!! No miss fires, and no problems with re-loads.

This was my first semi auto. Small, lightweight, easy to conceal. Very accurate if you get familiar with the single action. Somebody said that the frame crackes after a few rounds. I shot more than 2000 with this and it didn't even jam once. Easy to take down and more than reliable. I love it!!!

Taurus makes a fine weapon and this is a nice and easily concealable as well as accurate and dependable. The only problem I have with it is the 9mm just is not powerful enough anymore. Additionally for me the weapon just does not fit in my hand and therefore it is not what I would want personally. ANY handgun must fit your hand to be a good weapon.

I'VE PREVIOUSLY OWNED A TAURUS AND FOUND IT TO BE BOTH ACCURATE AND RELIABLE.

my wife owns ths firearm. very nice and accurate. for me it does not fit my hand im a rather lager guy 6'4" and 280 so i have some big hands but i can still shoot it ok. there are hardly any accessories for it that i have found. weve put about 500 rounds through it and not a problem. take down is simple i have a little trouble putting it back together. the barrel dosent want to go all the way foward it might just be me but i dont know.

This is the first, and as yet only, firearm I own. I was somewhat afraid of guns, but being single, my older son thought I should have one. He took me out shooting and let me use this firearm. Needless to say, I loved it and bought it from him. It is very comfortable and not at all intimidating. But it gets the job done!

I love this as my secondary concealed pistol. For those times when I am going out and don't feel confident enough with my P3-AT from Kel Tec, I just throw this into an inside of the waistband holster and go on my happy way. Being the 9mm the options for special frag ammo are endless, and with the medium capacity that this small firearm has, it's what I'll keep at my side.

This is my my first handgun personaly. I loved everything about starting with the price. I went to the range and put 150 rounds through it and then it broke. The recoil spring bushing blew out. Taurus fixed it no problem and I love it now!!!!! Highly recomend this gun to any new shooters or 9mm lovers

Nice compact, and light weight. Easy to conseal. I have shot 250 rounds so far of mixed ammo, no issues. Very easy to clean and lifetime warranty make it a really nice item. Also the saftey key is very nice for storing it loaded.

I recieved a CCW last year. My Ruger P-85 works fine for carry in the winter with big jackets etc..But spring and summer proved tough to carry without "printing" the weapon under a t-shirt. My wife said to carry her PT-111 and wow..What a difference..And the accuracy really impressed me. A polymer frame, short barrel 9mm pistol that shoots this well is hard to find. I suggest this pistol to anyone.. Also the warranty for Taurus is outstanding. Never had to use it but nice to know it's there.. Now am looking for another one to give to my wife to replace hers..Too bad they dont come in pink. That would make sure I dont carry both..

i bought the PT-111 on December 19. The gun wouldnt shoot properly, every second bullet it dry fired, and jammed 4 or five times in less then 20 bullets fired. Taurus and Academy are both not helping at all and wont tell me anything about the status of my pistol. What do i do??? please email me at mcoll1986@yaoo.com Thanks

First time I shot the gun at target on left. 7 yards two 10" targets side by side. Shot 20 rounds from Pt 111, only hit target 3 times outside of kill zone. The target to the right right next to target on left. Shot 20 rounds from my Glock Mod. 22, .40 Cal. All 20 rounds in kill zone. Academy sent Taurus back to factory. They replaced the barrel. Shot Pt 111 yesterday same problem. I tried aiming all over the target and still had only 3 hits. I don't know what problem is. Anyone else have this problem? I will get rid of this Taurus ASAP. Piece of expensive junk.

This is the gun that I carry concealed. It's not too big, so it's easy to wear, and it is accurate at 7 yards.

Great price and fantastic feel for a smaller pistol. Having served over 20 years in the U.S. Army, and a couple combat tours in Somalia and Iraq, I have seen and fired many different weapons. The PT 111 is a solid piece of equipment that is easily concealed in your pocket (for average sized person) and its size allows it to be used by any level of experience you might be. This is my weapon, there are many like it, but this one is mine! The functioning of it is easily accomplished by the most inexperienced handler...which can't be said for all pistols. while some have said the 9mm is not strong enough today, I totally disagree. With over 1225 fps, this baby can get the job done. The small barrel reduces effective range but for close quarters, this is a great tool. for self defense, why go any bigger....hopefully you will never have to use it but if you do, the Millenium Pro is all you need.

I have had one of these for about two years now. After about 400 rounds, the slide spring ejected out of the front of the slide. I sent it back to Taurus and they put a modified slide guide rod and spring in. This failure is why I give this gun 4 starts instead of 5. It took me a while to get my confidence back and depend on this pistol because of that.

I've probably got 1000 rounds through it now and even shot it in an IDPA match.

I have large hands but can still handle the gun fairly well. The only problem is ejecting the magazine quickly. Since I have large hands, I have to hold the gun with just my middle finger when I eject a magazine or it won't come out.

It carries well and is easily hidden. My normal carry gun is a KelTek P3/AT. But if I feel I could end up in a potentially dangerous situation or on the weekends, this is the gun I carry.

I also have a Sig 239, which I now use in competition as a stock service pistol.

I have the 2009 version of the PT111 Millenium Pro 9mm. The newest version of this weapon does NOT have "PRO" stamped after the word MILLENIUM on the left side of the slide. It is stamped after the PT111 stamp on the right side of the slide. I have put about 1000 rounds through it, of all types of ammo and it has NEVER failed, even with the cheapest Russian steel cased FMJ 115 gr. I would recommend this piece to anyone wanting a good concealable 9mm. Capacity is 12+1 and has a good feel, even with my arthriric right fore finger. Takedown is a breeze and toolless. Most gun shops offer it for under $350.

The Taurus PT111 was my weapon of choice hands down. In fact, I carry it on duty in my security work (and) off duty for my CCW. I have this pistol with me at all times. It is well made, accurate, reliable, and the perfect fit for my hand size. With this weapon on my hip and my back-up Walther ppk .380 auto strapped to my ankle; I feel pretty well armed!

I actually have the PT140 which is exactly the same firearm except in .40 S&W, I absolutely love this weapon, has never failed me yet and this is the weapon that turned me into a Taurus believer, also my Taurus .45...
I have shot the PT111 and it is fine also, but I prefer the PT140...I more of a .40 or .45 guy...My recommendation, BUY ONE!!! Either the 9mm or the .40!!!

I finally got my new one in layaway as we speak, But I go the 9mm Stainless slide. I have fired one before, and honestly I love how they shoot, this is my new CC weapon. for the size...Its hard to believe you can get 13 rounds in such a compact package.

Great gun for CC, but be sure to clean it prior to shooting it the first time. The gun shop said no need, but the blogs said it would be full of sticky gunk and it was. I cleaned it and put it back together in 5 min. Very easy to field strip. I used to have a S&W 4516 that was a bear to disassemble and reassemble. I have fired only 50 rounds so far ,but have had no problems. It is just the right size and weight(even with 13 roungs) for concealed carry.

THIS IS MY VERY FIRST HAND GUN I HAVE EVER BOUGHT (JUST RECENTLY). I HAVE SHOT ABOUT 1500 ROUNDS THROUGH IT NOT ONE JAM. SHOOTING (LEARNING) TO SHOOT AT 21 FEET AND IT IS QUITE ACCURATE. WITH MORE TRAINING AND SHOOTING IT WILL BE EVEN MORE AWESOME THAN WHAT IT IS ALREADY IS.
WAS CONSIDERING MODIFYING IT BUT I WANT TO KEEP THIS SUPERBLY SHOOTING AND ACCURATE SHOOTING GUN THE WAY IT WAS DESIGNED TO BE, STOCK. I COULD SHOOT THIS LITTLE GUN ALL DAY WITH OUT HAVING TO GET HAND SURGERY. DOESNT KICK HARDLY AT ALL AND KEEPING IT CLEAN IS A SNAP. BREAKING IT DOWN IS EVEN EASIER EVEN FOR A FIRST TIME SHOOTER LIKE MYSELF. IF I CAN BREAK IT DOWN AND CLEAN IT ANYONE CAN. FOR ME THIS FIRST TIME PISTOL IS THE VERY SMALLEST I CAN HOLD VERY COMFORTABLY, ANYTHING SMALLER WILL BE TOO SMALL EVEN FOR A BACK UP. TO ME THIS COMBINES THE BEST OF A BACK UP AND A PRIMARY SHOOTING WEAPON I WOULD EVER WANT, UNLESS IM COMPETING. FOR THIS FIRST TIME GUN OWNER I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER THAN I HAVE WITH THE TAURUS PT-111 PISTOL. SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE I AM GOING TO BUY THE SAME GUN FOR A BACK UP AS WELL.

The only problem I have with the weapon is the sights. I'm having trouble with the hold over, apparently you have to cover the target with the front blade. Salesman explained these were quick acquisition sights and the white dot on the front sight would be the point of impact, but this is not even close, its more like six inches below that at seven yrds. The gun fires and cycles great, easy to clean and re-assemble. If you have large hands it doesn't fit very well, but I understand this is a compact conceal to carry weapon for use in close quarter situations.
