Badge is good, use it in my private security life. Remember guys, Security Officer are PROACTIVE, while Police Officer are REACTIVE.

Great badge for Halloween

These negative comments are the reason why security officers are disrespected by civilians. I've been carrying a badge like this since 2001. I feed my family, pay my bills and contribute with this great land. I started as a regular officer and now I am a Branch Manager. I am proud of my badge. I learned next to PO and I was their back up twice. Make no mistake. We just prevent. We don't have the power nor the right of react. But we work hard for our money. We take our job seriously and we never pretend to be anything else.
And even if you don't want to see the truth, your job would be 20 times harder without us

This product like any product in iits line does symbolize aurthority and respect but remember its not just the badge its the person behind it!

I have to agree with artu675 many of us in the private sector work just as hard and can be put in the same type of situations as sworn LEOs. We are proactive and reactive. I personally work for a contract security company that is contracted to one of the Big 3 automotive companies. We not only handle security issues but also medical, fire, haz-mat, and rescue issues. All of us who wear a badge (be it security officer or police officer) work hard for the money we get. Which is usually not enough for what we do.

Carry this badge with me everyday to work and it has yet to fail me!

I carry this as a protections officer. In my job it tends to stop those who's mental capabilities may be limited. I don't need a badge to do my job but it does help. My police officer buddies should know that in my work I stop and or terminate problems and suspects before you get called in. So keep in mind that well many who wear this badge may be questionable, others wear it to make your life easier.

It is much better looking than the one I wear.

At the moment this is what I ware, hope to up-grade to a police badge soon.

I used to wear a LEO Badge but now i work as a contract Guard for the Federal Government and make more money either way it doesnt matter a badge is a badge and deserves the same respect
