Like the spring loaded system. Reliable and a great edge.

i get two pieces of these hk knives in plain edge; the opening is really smooth and this is a great quality knife but the handle is a lil' bit heavy and thick for an everyday pocket carrying...

I have been an avid knife collector since I was a kid. I like the H&K Automatic Drop Point very much and I carry it quite a bit. It is very well made and quick to open in an emergency. The blade is too short for me. I like at least a 4" blade on any knife. The extra 1/2" doesn't seem like much but it changes the overall balance of the knife for me. It may be great for everyone else.
