Great only for a short time. If you use your flash light a lot throughout your tour than bring along your car charger.

Try an Streamlight Ultra Stinger with 75,000 Candlelight Power..... Fully rechargable and doesn't have memory loss. Comes with an AC/DC adaptor and is EXTREMELY bright and trusty. The only thing is that it doesn't have the weight that a mag does so... in extrememe circumstances may not make the best impact weapon (Dept. policies and use of force scales varying). Check it out if you are unhappy with your mag, great for Traffic Stops and any run including checking buildings/houses/warehouses - From a consistent and trustworthy Nightwatch Officer

This flashlight is an old reliable. It is a bit heavier to carry with the two D-cell batteries but works great. The LED is a great improvement over the old standard bulb.

This is a good solid light when it comes to the body and inner-workings. However, with the stock bulb and alkaline batteries, it just can't cut it. The low price is also a plus. If you're gonna use it for LE work, it has to be modified for better brightness.
