This holster is really fast on the draw and has great retention capabilities. It is really easy to holster while keeping your eyes on the bad guy. The only draw back is that you really have to practice with this type of holster. If you don't practice with it, your pistol can get hung up on the draw. I've been wearing this holster for almost 6 years and it is one of the best I have had.

Awesome holster. Have used this for about three years now, and after you adjust to the mechanism it's easy to use. In the academy my partner and I were matching or outdrawing poeple with double retention holsters.

I have seen this holster carried by many deputies now and they swear by it. I will be ordering mine real soon.

Easy draw, easy in, comfotable ride. CCan hang on body armor when sitting in mobile unit but not enough to bother. Let a perp try to unholster your weapon from this one! Safe Safe Safe

Good product but I still like the 295 Safariland better.

I do not carry th level III, but several persons at my department do. I use and prefer the levelII version of this holder. It seems to last very well and retention is excellent. I did see some of the Rookies have trouble at the range retriving the weapon on the level III models. I know allot of that can be contibuted to their lack of practice to develop muscle memory, but I've never been a big fanof Level II holsters

This holster is great for secuirty but maybe a little over secure. I didn't like it because no matter how much practice I did, I still couldn't draw quick enough from level 3.

Best level III hoster that I have ever carried. Gun produces with ease to me but hard to the bad guy. I would recommend this to anyone.

Ok, I admit that I just recieved this holster. We supposedly "steped up" from our level II safarilands. My problem is that it is just as hard for me to draw as the bad guy. I also have seen the little wheel that locks the weapon in break locking the weapon inside the holster (this was on a new one). This just shows me that Murphy's law is correct in saying "Whatever can go wrong will". I think I will continue to use my level II.

My department issued me this holster. After spending some time practicing with the holster, I was drawing faster than my academy class mates using the cheap Lvl 1 retention holsters supplied by the Community College Academy my department sent me to.
Just practice, practice, practice. You could pick up the wearer of this holster with the butt of the gun, and the holster wouldn't release.

I love this holster. Probably the easiest holster I've used and holds up well to the weather and use.

Unbeatable safety, and function, looks professional, and feels great. Awsome weapon retention, you'll get the holster ripped off your hip before it lets go of the weapon.

I have been using this model for approximately six months and I am completely satisified with it. I added the Hood Guard Sentry, though and am completely pleased with them. Though as already been said by others practice is a must, but it allows a very quick draw.
