This a great holster. Love then fact that the weapon is secure immediately after placing in holster. Great for those times when your weapon is draw and you encounter an unarmed suspect who decides to fight. No worry about securing your weapon. Think my next purchase will be the concealment version.

I liked the CQC holster so much I bought this when it came out. It was alright but Blackhawk needs more ride height options. It just sat too low for me in my cruiser. I don't care for the retention system on it either. There are several officers that also have the holster in my former department. we were in a scuffle with a perp and when the dust cleared there was a pistol laying on the ground. It came out of the holster during the scuffle. We could not get the pistol to sit in the holster with any tension. I took mine off and havent used it since. If you want a great holster go with the Safariland Raptor.

CARRIED THIS HOLSTER SINCE IT CAME OUT. VERY POSITIVE RETENTION. IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IT OUT, IT'S NOT COMING OUT. SUPPLY STORE I BOUGHT MINE FROM HAD DISPLAY WITH PISTOL HANGING FROM RAFTER, YOU PLACE TRAINING WEAPON IN HOLSTER AND COULD HANG FROM IT!!! REHOLSTERING IS A BREEZE AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MASTERING ANY SPECIAL TECHNIQUES TO DRAW. FAST AND SECURE, WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT?

Several of our officers use these. I have been thinking of switching from my safariland....

I switched to this holster a year ago and I love it, it's fast and secure. It's comfortable to wear and it's tough

A great hoster for times when your weapon could come out while your working.

I changed my belt carrier to the holster with one that sits close and mid-ride, the holster is perfect....easy draw and fast lock when reholstering...no messing with snaps, levers or twisting.

Love this product. No more worrying about re-securing my weapon when I have to switch to less lethal. Just drop it in and go. The only negative I have is the lack of ride height adjustment. The product will sometimes pinch your side when you are sitting in the cruiser.

The Serpa is a poorly designed but well marketed holster that has a user to press in with the finger tip as they draw their pistol.
Some times the finger ends up right on the trigger pressing inward well before it would be safe to do.
I have also seen seasoned operators unable to draw from a Serpa holster under stress. I have also seen debris accumulate under the release button and "lock" the holster.

Just got the holster and I love it. Awesome retention with speed draw capability. Two negatives, the holster sits a little too low for me and it is very noisy from the draw aned holstering. In a situation where you may have to draw or holster your weapon in a quiet manner you will really have to watch what you are doing.

hands down this is the BEST duty holster on the market! I have had several and this is the best! Ease of use, low memory skills, perfect alignment on the draw, very secure, and low maintenance! If you don't own one get one! Not to mention all the diferent mounts!

This is a great holster. I went to it from a swivel top style holster. I like that the lock is on the side and not on the top like most crooks are used to finding. Wit the two screws which hold the belt loop closed it is relatively easy to take it off your belt without having to slide everything off, you can just slide the holster up and off by itself. I carry a Glock, department issue. This thing is the quickest on the draw of any of my old holsters!

This a great holster I have one for my Glock, my Sig, my Kimber and my Smith. I utilize them for on duty as well as off. They are secure and easy to extract the weapon. Excellent product!!

Only 4 stars becasue the product comes with a low ride option, its another $13+ for the belt loop high ride mod.
Retention, i have every confidence in its abilities. Best retention is the fight you put up, not that of a holster or its level, but the will to survive.

Our department bought each officer this holster as there primary duty holster. This is the best holster I have ever used. It is very comfortable to wear, very secure and quick on the draw. Well worth the money.
