Excellent tool that every cop should have in his car.

A must have for first responders. I have a personal use one in my vehicle as well.

This thing will cut thru a seat belt so quick and easy it makes you want to go cut more. It's addicting. try it and write back.

It really is addicting! I broke a few windows with one back when this was a brand new item on the market and everyone thought that it was just a cheap plastic toy. It's anything but a toy... it really works and once you use it, you can't wait to use it again...even if it's not completely necessary...lol.

have on in my POV never had to use but everybody needs one in their pov and units because you never know...

never know when you'll need one of these but when you can think of somethin to use it for at least you got it when that time comes.

Haven't had to use it yet, but we recently had them installed in all of our vehicles in the glovebox. Excellent idea.

A great "extra" to have access to. Works well when used correctly. The cutter must be pulled against a tight strap for clean cuts and the window breaks must be struck with a good deal of force. Most officers using one for the first time tend to "baby" that first or second strike before finally breaking the window.

Carry one in the pocket of my extrication gear at the FD, have had the opportunity to use it more than once and love it.

I carry this tool in my unit. I have not had the chance to use it yet but I have seen it in action.

Get product easy to use and many options for mounting. I think everyone should have one of these, just in case.

They also didn't mention that it has a blade on it near the bottom of the hand grip.... It is great for cutting seat belts...... We tried it out in my buddies junk yard and it works like a charm..... It should be issued gear.

My car caught on fire and my seat belt wouldn't unbuckle. The life hammer was mounted on the door panel. It saved my life.

I have one and feel relatively confident that if trapped in a vehicle it would help me escape!!!

Yes, It does look a little out of place, but our dept put them front and center in each patrol car and We've used them several times in roll-over wrecks.

Works even better than you'd think.

I am sure it works but why have extra gear. I always have my asp and knife with me.
