| Description: | If knives could be created in the same way we choose players for fantasy football league teams, every hardcore knife knut would recruit features and characteristics they like best from different knife companies and combine them into their favorite knife. Spyderco will undoubtedly fulfill many knife knuts knife fantasy picks with the introduction of the Waved Delica and Endura. Waved models combine all that’s functional and performance-based in a Spyderco folder with the Wave Blade-Opening feature made popular and patented by Ernest Emerson of Emerson Knives. The Wave is a hook curving out the top of the knife’s blade. When removing the knife from a front pocket the Wave catches the pocket’s edge quickly opening the knife blade ready to use. The knife can also be taken out of the pocket without engaging the Wave Opening Feature by pulling it straight up and out with your fingers on top of the closed blade. Waved Delicas and Enduras have screw construction making cleaning and adjusting easier. Their gray fiberglass reinforced nylon handles are molded with Bi-Directional Texturing® for traction and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners strengthen the knife without additional weight and create an anchor for external and internal components to attach through for more sturdiness and rigidity. Their VG-10 blades are flat saber-ground with a stronger tip and larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade’s spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip. PlainEdge only C10 Endura4 Wave: |

Great knife to carry on your non-firearm side. I don't like weak side. If this knife is carried in the opposite pocket from the firearm, it can be deployed lighting fast. This knife is well made for retaining your firearm. When drawn, it opens to a hammer fist hold allowing you to function with gross motor skill while retaining your firearm.

Great knife. Very fast deployment. But, as of this date, Spyderco only has a plain edge. It doesnt have an option for a combo or serrated edge.

THIS KNIFE IS GREAT ONE OF THE BEST CARRY KNIFES OUT THERE. FLAT OUT. EASY ONE HAND OPENING , THIN PROFILE ,LIGHT AND TUFF. AS FOR THE PRICE CHECK OUT SOME OTHER WEBSITES LIKE KNIFESUPPLY.COM OR YOURCORNERSTORE.COM I THINK THE WAVE WAS GOING FOR $60 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

Full Serrated and half serrated available as of this date. Spyderco Endura/Delica is worth the money for your first, last, or only knife.

I was given one of these as a gift. Found its way into a drawer and hasn't been seen since. It's solid and durable but way overpriced and needs to have a serrated edge (IMHO)

Easy to use and handle and don't have to worry about the clip getting bent or enlarged when either removing or placing it back in the side pocket of duty pants. Cuts seatbelts and clothing quickly when needed. Have used other expensive knives, but the metal clips on them aren't reliable over time. Bought mine years ago at the Military PX for $40.00.

This knife has license to use the Emerson wave opening feature. I think that Spyderco did a fine job of changing the "wave" just a little, because it catches the pocket and opens easily. This knife with a $60 price tag, is a good alternative to an Emerson.
