| Description: | Introducing an OTF like none-other.. The new Infidel® is rapidly making believers out of many a skeptic. Built for strength and reliability the patent pending double-action mechanics get it done over the long haul. Grab on and you will find the handle grip rock-solid with its patented machined in Presidio® style bi-directional tread pattern, and overall generous sizing for gloved hands. Intuitively pressure the release-slide forward and its spear-point edged steel fires and locks up with a unique three-point retention system with amazingly negligible blade play. Reverse the process and the blade retracts in a rapid blur of motion. The Benchmade Infidel is a special operator’s fantasy come true. |

This is the second Benchmade knife I've owned. They are awesome. Pricey but well worth the money. Good guarantee, excellant service and fantastic products. The Infidel has a good handfilling handle, sure grip, double edged blade, for life saving tool it will get the job done.

Again, for the money - I'd have to go through many failed knives and be REALLY fed up before springing $400 for a 4" blade.

This is a heavy-duty auto, and meant for work. Wouldn't be afraid to cut tires up with it.

Great out the front knife from a great manufacturer. Looking forward to the new matte finished blade model comes out later this year. And a great warranty with the Lifesharp guarantee

love this knife. mine i bought from a buddy that was moving to california and it's an assisted opener so not wanting him to get in trouble I purchased it from him. Second BENCHMADE I've owned, I loved them both. They hold a good edge.

300+ dollars for a knife that is sooo limited in use...
No.
As long as it is STRICTLY a last ditch WEAPON (not a tool...) and you don't screw around with it opening and closing it all the time (face it, all LE/Mil personnel are gear queers and we play with our toys all the time... I'm military and a defense contractor so I got a double dose of it) then it is outstanding.
But to me, a knife that can not be used as a survival tool is near useless.
IMHO, this knife is a very specialized tool who's very design limits it's use to mall ninjas only. I would NOT trust my life to ANY (And I LOVE Benchmade... it hurts me to say this) OTF auto... period.
If you don't open/close it a lot, it'll hold up.
NO OTF AUTO LASTS LONG!!!!!

This has to be the greatest knife ever produced. I love Benchmade's tough knifes, they are easy to sharpen and hold a blade. This is a rare quality. Most knifes that are easy to sharpen have a soft steel and dull quickly. I can cut anything with this blade and it still has an edge/

Perferred, by US Military and special forces. Great knife, aluminum handle makes it light weight, and stainless blade makes it rugged. I would recommend this knife to anyone
