Great product, but if you are not from a big job. you don't get the costumer service you would excpect.

Blackinton badges are excellent quality. My advice though is to spend the little extra money and get HiGlo or RhoGlo. The HiGlo finish is great for years until the laquer coating wears off. But once you polish them, plan on doing it every 3-4 days, but not a big deal. Never dull, Silvo, and Harley Davdson polish all work good to keep them looking good!

I've had two of these badges and they hold their shine. Great product and they stand behind it.

Great quality. When I damaged mine I recieved it back (repaired) within one week. The craftsmanship really stands out over other badges.

These badges are great and I am still waiting for my flat badge for my wallet. I love the quality put in these badges.

Still one of the highest quality badges around. You get what you pay for and the RhoGlow and Gold colors maintain their luster even under terible abuse. Our custom badge is expensive ($55) and that was after the City paid for the custom dies. But they remain, in my humble opinion, one of the best available.

I don't know of another badge company that stands behind their custom made product like Blackinton. I've worn them for decades. I've turned them in for refinishing and by the time I got it back you'd think they had built me a new badge. If you KNOW what you want, they can build it and if they build it, they'll stand behind it.

Have had both Smith and Wesson and Blackinton and both are good products.

Nice badges and they can do great custom work. The only issue I have with them is there finish comes off to easily. But, good product

A proven leader in badge production for years. I have never worn anything but Blackington Badges. I contacted Blackington about refinishing one of my badges I had purchased at a previous department. I am making a shadow box with some items from my career. They refinished it for me for $5.00. All I had to pay was shipping to them and the $5.00 A great company with great products.

Mine had gotten slightly damaged and they fixed it right up no questions asked and of course no charge. They are by far the best looking badges. It's always nice to have a company stand behind there product.

I always believed my department's badges were the sharpest of any city around us. I guess I was right because by the time I retired three other local departments used our badges in their departments. I still proudly carry it with me today!

for those who are serious about wanting the best, there is no other choice. two thumbs up

i ordered a brand new 6 pt star in a black leather carry case that you can wear on a chain around your neck. i also like other leo's have a second job . i lost this brand new badge in just one week. it was recovered a year later by a bulldozer operator . it was covered in mud when i got it back , but with a little cleaning it was just like brand new .

Very good holds up to the abuse of the job and finish stays bright and shiny, cleans with a soft cloth.
