I got these boots about 1 year ago. After a week and they were broken in. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. Working as a Police Sergeant, you can have some very long days and nights, my feet don't bother me in these boots.

There great for the price but mine were only 4 mounths old and the sole started to split from the shoe. I got a second pair and they did the same in almost the same amount of time.

These are by far the best boots I have ever owned. They are comfortable and light. The break in easy, unlike most boots I have owned previously. I hope Bates continues to make these boots. I noticed the price came down to, thats excellent.

This is the worse boot I have ever worn, my feet felt like they were beat to the point that they were bruised, it hurt to walk two days after taking these boots off. Needless to say I will never buy another Bates product again, I switched to the Magnum Spider now that is comfortable

I've only ever worn the CTS9. For the last 4 years. They are a good boot for the price and comfortable too. My only concern is that that they don't last long. I'm a big guy and I break a pair down in about 6 months of good use. 12 if I'm careful.

Bates boots have always been my boot of choice, when i moved to tactical i needed something quick. The side zip works fantastic. Never wear anything but even after 2 years with this boot, soles are worn down but still holding together

Great boot very comfortable. I have the coyote tan so I'm not able to wear them at work. I do wear them in the winter with blue jeans and they are very comfortable and look good.

Great boots. I'm on my 2nd pair. I work K9 so I wear boots year 'round. I wear the waterproof version and they are super light and comfortable. Northeast Ohio gets pretty cold in the winter and these keep my feet toasty. Only negative is that I have to untie (not unlace) to get them off even with the zipper down. They're still easier to put on/off than non-zip boots.
