So the federal goverment will pay 100% the first 3 years and 90% after that. I so happy my tax dollars already pay for them to stay in jail and educate them, now I will pay for healthcare when they get out. What a country.
    Bump all.

Lets see, guaranteed meals, access to healthcare behind bars, TV, electricity, advocates for their basic human rights which these criminals didn't consider while they committed thier crimes, free education, and now free health care upon release. Who needs college go to prison youre at least guaranteed admittance and free room and board!!!! Absolutely appalling!!!!

"The new health-insurance arrangement is possible because of changes under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Under previous rules, most Iowa adults could not qualify for Medicaid, no matter how poor they were. But Iowa decided to use new federal money to essentially expand its Medicaid program with the new Health and Wellness Plan. Most Iowa adults qualify if they make less than about $16,000 per year for a single person. Most freshly released prisoners should easily meet the income guidelines, McKibbin said."

Another fantastic entitlement benefit brought to the American taxpayer by the liar in chief. Isn't it great how quickly this country has devolved in the past 5 years? Maybe we should just all stay home and collect entitlements? It seems to be working well for some.....

Can't imagine who's flipping the bills for this. SMH........ There goes that beach-front property I had my eyes on upon retirement.
