This is just more proof that there is no intelligent life on this planet. Hope my supreme lead allows me to leave this crazy planet soon or I will go nuts.

I guess I must be an unfit parent also for refusing to take my kids to McDonalds or saying no to something that they wanted just because they had a temper tantrum. What a crock of fecal matter. The dad is absolutely correct by not rewarding the bad behavior of his child. If you do not teach a child that sometimes the answer is NO and you cave in every time said child has a temper tantrum, the child will learn early on that they can get anything that they want if they scream long, loud and hard enough. There is no law that states that a father or any parent is required to take his child to McDonalds or any other place upon the demand of the child. Since when do we allow a 4 year old to control and order the parent? A parent is required to take care of the basic and essential needs of the child by providing food, clothing, shelter and medical attention as needed. Food can be anything that the parent deems appropriate. Last time I checked, taking a child to McDonalds is a privilege granted to the child by a parent and not a right of said child. I'm rooting for the dad on this one. Maybe the shrink needs to get her own head examined, that is if she is able to pull it out of her fleshy hindquarters where it appears to be permanently stuck.

Not surprising coming from NY where officials are more worried about banning larger soda cup sizes than other pressing issues like crime, unemployment, etc.......

To the "mom" and shrink: "what kind of babbling bullsh*t is this?" It ain't gonna kill a kid to miss dinner every once in awhile.

Dad's spot on. You don't reward bad behavior.

The little spoiled brat has only displayed that he can get what he wants by throwing a temper tantram.Doesn't bode well for the rest of his life,if and wnen he ever grows up.Mommy and shrink need to be grounded.

I believe in this case dad knows best. The mommy and the shrink need to take their collective heads out of their hind quarters.
