Well these legislates can just su-[we are experiencing technical difficulties, thank you for your patience]-and that's all I have to say about that.
Good Grief ! When I think I have heard just about everything from lawmakers, this just adds to the idiotic senseless laws our highly educated lawmakers come up with ...
Amen to that, Max. That usually gets their attention and temporarily shuts them up if they were running their mouths at you. The usual response is "You can't cuss at me!!!" Well I just did!!
Oh Dave, Dontcha know you're not allowed to swear anyway? The wifes listening, and so is God, remember?
Sometimes the only way to get your point across to a noncompliant suspect is to use the "F" word!
Doncha love politicians telling others how to conduct themselves. These lazy, crazy flea bitten punks who create misery for most of the populace everytime they vote and get a huge salary for doing so.How about we make a deal with them, they (sometime) believe in compromise.Let say we stop swearing when they take their collective heads out of their a$$es.
BOSTON —A Massachusetts legislator has proposed a bill that would punish police officers for swearing or using racial slurs while dealing with the public.
Open Mics are hot items to some and always wind up on social media, especially youtube which has world wide viewers.
Cursing to instill a little fear to a noncompliant suspect(s) to let them know this is not a F**K**G game, I can support that %100.
An officer of ANY ethnicity using Racial/Religious/Gender Based slurs serves no purpose (imo) but to jeopardize other Officers trying to control a crowd, or obtaining a viral 15 minutes of fame on youtube making ALL officers look like some type of Politburo of non-tolerance.
don't they have more pressing and important things to legislate? I'll bet most all of the Mass. lawmakers cuss and they should be held to the same standard.
Beneath the dignity of officers? Here's one for you, STFU. Y'all can guess what that one means.
Right. Listen, I worked the rough part of town and if I EVER daid to someone, "Sir, if you would kindly place your 12" Bowie knife on the ground along with you pistol I would be ever so grateful. Also it would make so many people happy and it wopuld also be in everyones best interest" They would look at me as if I had grown another head! Almost every other word would have to be a crude curse word or Ghetto Talk or I can promise you there would be a fight! The manner of speech that I normally do is free of cuss-word or almost always free of those popular words used in place of cuss words. The people I hang out with only cuss when they are really, really upset and even then the words are not considered strong cuss words. Still, when you are working with and speaking with those who no other words other than cuss words, you must reply in kind. Like GrayPanther says, this jerk probably was on a tiraid against an Officer when the Officer used a cuss-word that he would understand to shut him up.
Seriously? I'm sure he's "never" swore while on-the-job.
Hmm. Methinks the dude got pulled over and got lippy with the LEO. Now he doesn't like it that we respond in kind when sworn at.
