    Having deployed a Taser on several occasions effectively, I can say that on the subjects armed with knives deadly force would have been used to stop the threat. On the drugged up they would certainly suffered long lasting injuries form impact weapons and hard hand tactics before they were subdued. And for law suits, how about the ones from officers that get hurt that would not have if they still haf this tool.
