Maybe the C.E.O. could hire a crowd of fellow Constitution hating self important idiots to stand at the doors of all his establishments with a paddle and/or take all customers to the back room for a strip search. This begs the question" How do morons become C.E.O.'s"?
Too yuppie for me. The CEO just made Starbucks a target for criminals, wow what a brain on that one.
T do not need to worry about me carrying a firearm into one of their stores. I simply d not buy anything from hem anymore, simple as that. If I did and had to go into one of their stoes, I would do so armed. Unless there happens to be something very bad going on then nobody shold know I am armed and itis CONCEALED.

Well, no gun, no money. Their coffee is overpriced anyway.
Just another reason why I don't go to this establishment. I don't go anywhere without my sidearm.
Absolutely correct Marly. My caramel macchiato is missing something without my 380.I usually carry my buck knife if I order a pumpkin spice.
Although I love the way Starbucks shoots steamed milk into my cappuccino, I am just not comfortable sipping it unarmed.

Alert to all crazies. No guns in SB's announcement.
I bet double D will never do this...
Never did like their coffee anyway.
Either pass a law and let it be unrestricted or dont freaking pass one at all. I get freaking pissed as ship when i read that another establishment has said you are not allowed to bring your weapon into or on their property, All these a holes are doing is gving more freedoms to the freaking criminals, people need to get their head out of their az like yesterday. I need to become president and become a dictator!
Indeed Starbucks has this right.I suddenly feel the right to never visit another Starbucks. If ever I witness an armed robbery -in progress- at a Starbucks I shall open the door widely and yell to the perp that firearms are not allowed in Starbucks.
Law Enforcement is exempt so this does not concern me. Why not post no carry signs?
......(you can't bring it in a stadium either)....
Yes which is one of the multitude of reasons that I no longer attend live sporting events, the others being very high prices, and the the 46 inch flat screen with surround sound makes for a much more enjoyable experience at home-oh did I mention that there is no waiting in line for the rest room, either? (lol).
I understood full well what the article was saying. Starbucks wasn't saying that I can't bring my legally concealed firearm into their establishment (which, in my state would then make it illegal for me to do so) they were only saying they would rather I didn't. I get it.
I guess I am only reminding them that if they do decide that I cannot, then that means that my money is no good there and I will have to spend it somewhere else.
Wow Lana that article was old, and yes, with all the shootings we have had in this country in the last 19 months since then I had forgotten. How did things turn out for Officer Lantych? I hope he has made a full recovery.
How soon we forget.........
