It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you to be a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. We both think he had his hand on his shirt as intimidation? No we both do not think that. Perhaps in fantsyville one can get away with emotion and innuendo however that does not apply in real life. Here in NC any person can swear out a misdemeanor warrant on any other person if he can prove probable cause to a magistrate. If the case proceeds and the warrant is served then you have to take what you can prove, not what you think, into court. If the judge finds the prosecution to be malicious then the accuser can be made to pay criminally. Bringing up the president again, he decided it would be a good idea to interject himself into a situation which did not warrant his attention. Telling the nation that TM could look like him or his son is rediculous. That kid could have looked like anyone in the nation after all, POTUS represents us all doesn't he? As far as posting those articles, the point being made there is the duplicity of the media.....and the president. Why interject yourself into one non-crime yet choose to remain silent on the real crimes committed? There you have two obviously stated hate crimes and silence from POTUS (who is supposed to represent us all regardless of race or ethnicity) and silence from the media who jumps on Z for a non story. Now why do you think that is? Can you say agenda? I know I can. If not for someone posting it here you would not have even heard about the crimes occurring. You can bring out all the video you would like to in relation to Z. We still do not have a crime, a victim, and the original complainant advising she never saw a weapon. You also have the police (who were actually there) advising there were no wounds to the other "victim". Personally I am going to believe my brothers on scene rather than some agenda driven media story and/or someone who has an axe to grind for no reason against someone they do not know from Adam. It would behoove some to figure out the difference between innuendo and the truth. It would probably save them much time arguing over something they have no control over and free them up for more productive things.

    Good point Dave-Bump.

Now let me insert something I think everyone will find pretty amusing.

Zimmerman's Lawyer O'Mara quit today and a reporter asked him if he had any advice for Zimmerman.

    O'Mara responded, "yes, PAY ME"

    lol'z

That was the point of my initial comment, Dave. The man should get the heck out of Florida, for sure.

Florida Man is what Florida Man does.

It is not important what I think of this person or Mr. Martin.Only he and his maker know if what he did was justified or not. There is only ONE true law maker who we must all answer to.If I were "Z" however,I would do my best to maintain a very low profile for the remainder of my life, following said trial. He is most certainly displaying his lack of wisdom by failing to do so.Evidently some individuals have a learning disability..

AJS, you did know there's an actual video forthcoming.......dontcha?

Forensic examiners are putting together Shellie's iPAD that poor frail George broke over his knee and took a knife to after punching her 64 year old Dad in the face. GZ also has video, I'm sure he's uploading the parts he filmed to FOX NOISE.

I think you know as well as I do GZ, whom is known to take his weapon everywhere, probably had his hand over his big plaid shirt and on his hip trying to intimidate his wife who's getting her belongings from the house GZ is renting for her Dad. I'll agree she's probably a bit of a Drama Queen herself, it is a divorce.

Submitting any and every Black-on-White crime one could find in an attempt to incite the usual obsessively ostracize Obama daily dream team, will not negate the fact that you're defending a THUG. One thing I will agree with you is that President Obama (Yes he has my respect) should have kept his statement to himself, but he was asked to make a statement a hundred times over.

GZ's Lawyer is even done with him conveniently before the audio of the incident comes out, perhaps he realizes that there's not enough polish in the world to polish that turd.

Whether some want to deem this twatwaffle as a hero solely on the fact he exercises his 2nd Amendment and they can make some political hay, let's keep in mind that there are people on the other side of that gun who are innocent and in need of police to help and protect them.

I power suggest people to drop support for this thug before he injures or kills someone else.

Matt I agree. In the original article however she states to the 911 operator, "his hand on his gun and he keeps saying step closer." So either she saw his hand on his gun (no) or she did not (yes) and knew what kind of press this would generate. Of course the media picks this up and runs with it and once again he is accused of something heinous without all the facts being known. Either he did or he didn't, it is pretty cut and dry. To be sure there is an aura of guilt around this man to some because of what the press puts out there for people to read. Sad state of affairs when people assume to know what they don't.

Matt, here in NC if there was a physical altercation with witnesses and obvious bruises/scrapes/bloody noses, etc. somebody is going to jail. By the way, the article I just posted shows where the wife recents her threatened with a gun story.

....or likely both were offered the opportunity to press charges against the other and both declined. Maybe that doesn't happen where you are, ajs--but I've been a bystander to more than one situation where that exact scenario played out.

Ok let me explain again, ANYONE who has been in this business for more than about 60 seconds realizes that people will say anything about anyone especially in an emotionally charged incident. SINCE NO CHARGES WERE FILED BY THE "VICTIMS" THERE OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT A CRIME. The real question is why do people jump is high to come to a conclusion without A) being there and B) knowing all the facts? The answer just could be that their emotionally charged opinion is worth about as much as the person or organization that gave it to them. I am not defending Z I am merely pointing out the facts of the case here. No charges, no crime. You're right, this is a police forum, stick to the facts instead of the opinion or agenda of an organization(s). By the way, most cops I know (yes I am one too) believe in the second amendment and stand your ground laws. Without them this country would fall into anarchy as we cannot be everywhere all the time. If a crook knows there is potential deadly force awaiting him if he chooses action X, he will think twice about committing that act.

AJ, you do know he punched an elderly man in the face today, destroyed their property, and had a knife?
why is It so important to you to defend this twatwaffle?

As for the ex fiance, are you suggesting she'll be the first woman that went back to a man that hit her, especially one that's paid now? LOL

Speaking of the ex, you can find her name on file (FL criminal records) along with Assaulting an Officer w/violence, DUI and Speeding. Post trial, more incidents of speeding now this.

I thought here on a police forum we stand in support of the LEO and other people who were assaulted by George Zimmermans fists, molested and even killed by him while they were NOT breaking the law ?

Where's their justice?, or does justice only to the guy exercising his 2nd Amendment and not the ones looking down the barrel of his gun?

Ok I am guessing the koolaid drinkers didn't read where the estranged wife and her father declined to press charges? Anyone who has been in this business for more than about 60 seconds realizes people will say just about anything about anybody. By the way apparently the reason Z and his wife are divorcing is because Z is having an affair with his ex-fiancée. I suppose she has come back for more abuse because she misses it? Also, he didn't murder anyone nice try though!

I'm not going to edit my comment for typos, as most are not going to read it and turn a blind eye to this article anyway. Perhaps I'm wrong, sighs.
