Prayers to the officers and families involved! I hope an outside agency handles the investigation!
Americans have the Constitutional right to be armed on their property inside the garage or in the yard!
If you can blame poor lighting to excuse the "mistake" made by the officers then why would poor lighting not be used to explain why he did not put his weapon down. Also if it were reversed would poor lighting justify the man firing at the officer. Just a thought, the lighting was the same for both sides. I have been there many times never made a mistake like this. I thought we left the shoot first ask questions later in the past.
