Some of the funniest episodes I recall were watching rookies, full of book learning wearing all the newest latest gadgets answer a loose livestock call. If you let them get there first, give them a little time, then when you get there it is hard to determine just who is chasing who.......unless the officer is standing on the roof of the car by the light bar. It can moooooove you to tears.
This was once a problem where I lived in SouthEast Missouri years ago.I guess letting them graze on the asphalt is cheaper than buying them feed.
