Bump, mmmm on the civil suit.
Not even in California..... I would never arrest a kid over a t-shirt. Seems to me that while some might want to argue as to whether or not the t-shirt is appropriate for a school setting, this is not a law enforcement issue. It is a school administrative issue. It also seems that this is a 1st amendment issue of free speech.
I could see this in California or Massachusetts, But West Virginia!! Rally?? I'm sure the prosecutor wants a gag order. He/she wants this mess to go away. Stand by for the civil suit.
Of course they want to keep it under wraps. It shows just how stupid this arrest is and they hate the publicity!
