I MUST APPOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE ABOUT MY LAST POST HERE, I READ THE MORE COMPLETE REPORT OF THIS ON CNN AND YAHOO NEWS PRIOR TO READING THIS POST. THIS NEWS POST DOES NOT GIVE THE COMPLETE STORY. THE SCHOOL DISTRICT HAD ADMITTED IT HAS NOT POLICY AGAINST THE WEARING OF SHIRTS PROMOTING THE 2ND AMENDMENT.

didnt EVERYONE read the story as i did? there is NO POLICY against wearing of that kind or any kind of t-shirt. whom ever from the school dist who started this, if they felt the shirt was sending the wrong message, should have sent a letter to the parents stating such and then the parents could have handled it one way or the other. this is a tragedy and this poor kid deserved a huge apology and some adults who should know better should be reprimanded.

Sorry but in this case the 'arresting Officer' was acting like an idiot! This kids parents need to sue each and every one of those involved BY NAME, as well as the School Dept. and the Police Dept. There is no law broken. This kid simply refused to comply with an unreasonable AND UNLAWFUL order! His shirt was not vulgar or profane or obscene d they had no right to order him to remove it.

A bump and dittos to Elite1grey! It is one thing to take on a school policy or rule, but to fail to cooperate with an Officer there to sort things out-then go to jail and tell it to the judge. Oh, by the way act like that in front of the judge and get your face in the media again.

Stupid on so many levels. I'd like to hear the arresting officer's side of the story.
