    Cedardale,

I think that wage estimate you made was only for their Capt...who knows what they paid their officers

"Capt. Kevin Gentzel, interim police chief, said there’s more to this ordeal than just money..." [snipped]

"Gentzel grossed slightly more than $4,300 in 2012 during 530 hours as a part-time officer."

Did you notice the PTer pay, about $8.11/hr, they ought to be happy that they can even find officers to work for that.

    Bump GrayPanther...

That, and it appears that the Frazeysburg villagers are complaining about their actual neighbors not being neighborly as they volunteer to patrol the town part-time for free

"Garver had received complaints in 2012 from Frazeysburg residents stating that officers had failed to be neighborly and were not giving verbal warnings before issuing speeding tickets." So let me get this straight: officers were doing their jobs enforcing traffic law by citing speeders, a few citizens complain because they got a fine they richly deserved, and now a COMMITTEE has been set up?!

No way in h*ll I'd want to be Chief in this town. Pretty sure I wouldn't even want to work there.
