Thanks for the straight skinny Matt -- Doc
Here's a Washington Post article with the straight dope:
On Faith: U.S. military should put religious freedom at the front
The Fox News article gets it right--Breitbart twists it into a pretzel and distorts it to wind people up: SURPRISE (NOT!).
Some independent organization is making noise saying they WANT the Pentagon to court martial personnel who proselytize for any religion (not just Christianity), because they believe that's what the regulations call for. What a bunch of nonsense. It doesn't make sense because it isn't true.
If you want your news to be wholesale lies, get it all from Breitbart. It's as simple as that.
I'm deleted my comment, as I didn't have time to critique this yet. First thing I saw, title uses the word Christian but it's not in the Pentagons statement. I call B-S. I'll read it later.
This makes no sense at all. -- Doc
So jihad is ok but Christians are "enemies of the Constitution"? The Jesus of Christianity will not be mocked. Not in this eternity.
Well THAT's Obamma's kind of world. Remember Obamma's preacher with his sermon re "[DIETY]-DAMN the United States........." A REAL government would have stopped that trash immediately. How 'bout some serious rank reductions (PFC, anyone?) and immediate deployments direct to holes like Afghanistan for the creeps that DID this? Or court-martials for the Pentagon high-&-mighties instead?
Looks like they want to start a holy war right here in the U.S.
Ive never seen or heard anything more ridiculous. When the day of judgment comes, they cant recant thier action, or statements. We all have to explain it to God when we are before him. I hope someday they ask for forgiveness.
