    A tragic event. I believe if you have weapons in your house that as soon as a child can identify it as one they should be taught how to respect them..

    Sad. I don't have an issue with a five year old using a .22 but it should have been only under adult supervision. You don't leave teh rifle and ammo and then go outside even for a second.
