As I recall when first reported, they were delivering papers and were doing nothing wrong. Therefore, they deserve every penny...
They were out about their business delivering newspapers when they turned down the street where an LAPD captain resided. The street was being heavily guarded by LAPD because Dorner had named the captain in his manifesto. In other words--these ladies did nothing wrong. They simply were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
