I fail to see why he wouldn't be released on parole! He did not commit a violent felony, he is not imprisoned on a sex charge, nad he cannot abuse his badge or position again as he has none...
Worried that if released he would violate the law again. . . . . .HUH? Why have a parole board then? We know that the people in prison have violated the law once and that recidivism rate is up around 70 to 80%. Did these people really worry too much about the law when they violated it the first time???? Seems to me that anyone you release has an 8 in 10 chance of violating the law again. . . .so why release them early?
