    Regardless of weather there was a cover up by the the LEO's involved, the 2 hotel witnesses also testified that Dorner had lied as well, if you don't consider the LA LEO's credible, what motive would the hotel employees have for lying.

    The rampage was a result of the Appeals process finding that Dorner lied, upholding the firing which took place in 2008 for the same reason.
