Actually....... The way it was supposed to happen is that the officer should have been able to find out who brought it, who sold it, who had it and knew what it was and who got a piece or a whole cookie believing it to be simply just a cookie. If all of the kids dummied up under Miranda, then all get citations for simple possession and the seller gets possession for sale. My experience, seeing the cannabis cookies, brownies, lollipops / suckers and gummy-bears on the schools in increasing numbers since the legalization of medical marijuana in California, these kids knew exactly what they were buying and or selling. What they did not do was read the instructions, eating the whole cookie as if mommy had baked them herself. Many of these kids will be combining these products with the use of alcoholic beverages such as four loco, Tilt (or similar) that have high caffeine levels. When the caffeine wears off, the alcohol and the marijuana kick in leaving the kid face down and unresponsive. The bottom line........ DANGEROUS.

Complacency over the actual dangers of drug use is bad parenting! If a parent can't find the moral backbone to educate and discipline their child about drugs, then at least look at the legal ramifications!
