A woman's armed defense of her breached castle. I dread to think what would have occurred once this crow-bar wielding invader had made it into the Melinda Herman's and her kids' last refuge, a crawl-space.

Understanding the need to retreat and shield the children, I wish Mrs. Herman had been able to fire on the intruder sooner at which time she may have found a clearly-presented target to repeatedly fire upon. In any case, good coordination between Mr. and Mrs. Herman to stop the threat.
