Detroit police leader: We are 'epicenter' of America's gun problem

We have enough gun laws on the book, federal and local. Criminals don not obey the laws. It's time for the courts to punish the criminals instead of the justice system being a revolving door. A record number of criminal assaults are commited with baseball bats. Do you hear a cry to ban baseball? Thousands die due to DUI crashs, more than criminal deaths; do you hear the government wanting to ban vehicles? It's time to look at history, countries that were disarmed were taken over by criminals or the government turned on their citizens.
