Transcript: Detroit court official saw no danger, wouldn't remove child later killed at home.

i cried after reading this. i lost my parental rights to my youngest son 13 years ago just before he turned 2. not because of abuse or neglect but because of misdiagnosed and mistreated mental illness. i was not correctly diagnosed and put on the correct medication til after his adoption had been finalized and the case closed and sealed.
my heart breaks for the children who obviously need court system intervention, as well as for the families who wrongfully get it. i still carry a lot of resentment towards my treating psychiatrist at that time, as i begged, pleaded, etc. to him that despite being on medication, it wasn't working and i didn't want to lose my infant son. unfortunately i did and am now patiently waiting out these last 3 years where i hope and pray we'll reunite once again.

that referee should go find another line of work. what a ahole. I bet nobody questions him and there will be no accountability on his part.
