Yeps, another example of local government bungling. Worse than Virginia. ANYBODY THINK OF TRAINING AS MANY AS POSSIBLE AND DEPLOYING THE TRAINED OFFICERS WITH TASERS ?
So 3 instances where the suspects won't be going in and out of jail/prison? No Officers will ever be hurt by the 3 examples. No Judge will let them out way too early. No lawsuits over use of the Taser. Ya ok!!
If it's a financial issue, why don't the prosecutors have a call to action? Maybe they can ask for help from Retired LEO's who wouldn't mind volunteering a little of their time to assist Jersey's LEO's in getting their Cert's? Ya know, like someone like UncD, We'll stock pile some Bud Light and butter brickle, he'll be set. :)
NJ also needs to fix their rules on the taser use. Also can someone add an edit button for comments please lol.
They also only list the taser cartridge as being 35 feet long. these people need to do some fact checking.
What does that have to do with anything? im not going to use a taser on you if you have been pepper sprayed in accordance with taser Inc. training. From all the scenarios they gave at the top of the article they were all justified with the use of force being +1 level.
