mz66, you'd have to research the report behind the arrest and warrants. Additionally, you would have to pull the policies and procedures to see if ICE was in compliance with their own General Orders. You'll not find a more reliable source than the actual case report.

Even when ICE gets and detains them, it takes forever before anything happens because they have "rights" and have due process (even though it's their 2nd, 3rd, 4th times they've committed crimes). The immigration laws are a joke. It's no wonder illegals laugh at us.

Sarge, I am quite certain there are no LEO's taking this "editorial" as gospel. Drivel such as this shows just how mind-numbingly stupid certain segments of society can be. What amazes me is that taxpayers of this great nation actually give credence to this nonsense.

I noted a couple of things on the face of the 'article'.

It is an editorial. No one person is taking responsibility for authoring it. It is a 'collective' from the Star-Ledger Editorial Board. Thus, a fact-accurate document is not the purpose with the article.

Lastly, if you have an ear for media speak, you will see that there is a plethora of sentence construction that is designed to make an editorial point. A lot of newspapers have these staff created editorial articles at least once a week.

So, the bottom line is this 'article' is biased, slanted and unbalanced due to the author(s) trying to make a declarative opinionated point.

Bump ajsdaddy. Quit your whining and come here legally or don't come. If you're going to come here legally and overstay your welcome, expect to get a visit from ICE. Don't whine and cry because your civil rights were violated. That's great you know you're not a felon or dangerous crackhead - how the heck are LEOs supposed to? Our crystal ball broke eons ago.
