Gov. Perry: Teachers Should Carry Concealed Handguns

Well Gov. I'm a conservative Republican myself,but let's back off on this for a spell.I think we are wittnessing a vast knee jerk reaction from many sources throughpout the country.Is the Texas legislature going to pay the millions necessary for concealed carry permits and extensive training necessary for this plan.i.e. Shoot/don't shoot scenerios,gun retention,hand to hand combat,etc, etc,? If you want to consider somethuing construtive in the state of Texas how about sending ten to twenty thousand state national guard troops to the border on a permanent basis.
