Unarmed Teen from Florida shot over loud music?

I concur with all posts.Have to believe if the defense intends to use this statute as a defense it will be a losing propostion for the suspect.I see nothing but a conviction here.

SYG law doesn't apply here, IMHO. He was the one who got the ball rolling and then escalated things, and he needs to be held accountable !!

This happened here and this POS needs to go to prison for a very long time. HE was the one who pulled into the gas station second and it was HE who approached the other vehicle and HE pulled out his firearm and fired as many as 14 rds directly into the vehicle. He said at first he did not think he actually hit anyone, (yeah right), and then when he was found and arrested he said, "Oh, I was just getting ready to turn myself in down here to people I know and trust". He then said he was "threatened" and when that didn't should bad enough he is now claiming that they had a shotgun in there! Now I do not like loud music, especially rap or heavy metal but that does not mean you can shoot someone! Is he a bigot? I don't know but what he did was wrong in so many ways and so cowardly that he need to go away for a very long time.
What concerns me so much is that he is also going to try and use the "Stand your ground" law and it DOES NOT APPLY to situations like this! HE was the aggressor and has no reason to make that claim. The Florida "Stand your ground" Law is a GOOD law, but you had better understand exactly what it is before you try and claim it. I would hate to see it overturned based on some POS trying to use it as a defense when it doesn't apply.
