What the story does not mention is her BAC? That will be the telling tail. Or did she refuse? I wish the story would have related this information. A high BAC would show she is lying. A refusal would also demonstrate she lied.

It could be true I hope its not already to many drunks driving dont need GHB drivers on top of that

This should be simple. As soon as the suspect claimed to have been influenced by GHB, she should have been given a blood test not only for her BAC but for the presence of GHB.
