A total lack of respect on her part, to be sure; not so sure if it's a firing offense. Would like to see a copy of the company rules & regulations concerning this before I make a judgement over this. If she truly broke the rules, however, it's in the hands of her employer what happens next.
Wonder what the outcome would be if she were to stand in Red Square in Moscow and flip the bird at Putin when he strolls by?
Big bump to DL

Apparently her co-worker (presumably theo one who took the picture) was fired as well. guess they qualify for dumb and dumber. http://policelink.monster.com/news/articles/175240-workers-fired-af...
Somehow the first admandment has become twisted from 'freedom of speeech' to freedom of expression', I doubt if the writers of the 1st admandmant had that in mind.

I think some of you have a serious misunderstanding of the first amendment, it's freedom of speech not freedom from repercussions from private citizens who also have rights, she will not be arrested for what she did nor should she, her protections end there, you also seem to imply that no one else has the first amendment right to criticize her or her employer has no right to protect their company.
I think she is a first rate brat who deserves whatever she gets from this. Maybe next time she will think before she acts.... or she will keep jumping off that bridge. What happened to tact and class? (rhetorical) You are 30 years old Ms. Stone, it's past time that you grew up.
Yes she may remember this lesson in the future, but she;s still an A-Hole.Congrats to the company for firing her. What would posess her to do something "LOW LIFE" like this in the first place. As an Army vet and a Police Officer I feel it's disgusting and I refuse to believe any of our G.I.'s fight for the right for morons to be morons.
I agree that the men and women who fight and die for this country, have fought and died to give this woman the right to free speech. I agree that she was foolish and very disrespectful and should be a better example to the world around her. I do understand that not every person has that capacity, that is why LEO's have jobs. I agree with the company for letting her go. She brought a lot of bad press to a company that is dependent on donations and good press to make it in this world. I hope that she has truly learned a lesson and that she can get her life on a better path. Every action has a reaction. I hope that she will always remember this in the future.
