While we all would like to lock away 3 strike offenders for life, the practicality is that states can no longer afford to do this as it probably would require 1st and 2nd time "violent" offenders to be released early. I would rather keep the truly violent offenders in prison longer even if it means letting non-violent offenders out early...

When I spoke to my sister about this law, she was surprised at the types of crimes that don't earn "strikes". there are going to be some pretty tough times ahead...communities cutting back on police services, state releasing early the ones we did manage to catch and convict, and the courts re-sentencing the rest. I'm doing my best, but can I get a little help here?

It was only a matter of time before this nonsense would rear its ugly head. The judicial system, state legislatures and probation and parole systems will continue on their liberal agendas to see that as many as possible will be released to AGAIN reek havoc upon the public.Ain't we got fun?
