Off Duty Officer charged in Altercation with bar patron

At any time we are in the public eye were are held to a higher standard and to a standard that we have to act if something arises. If alcohol is involved at any level it could cause problems. Drink at home and stay there. That is still not a guarantee but it cuts down on some stuff that could happen. The media and the public are making our jobs so much harder. We are in a catch 22 no matter what.

Amen and super bump to the previous posts of my friends.When I was on the job most of we officers called alcohol a bottle of stupid and /or a bottle of courage.At any rate,hootch turns a normal person into an idiot.

Why I prefer to drink at the house. Bar scene is not what it used to be......"fun"!!
