The waste of breath needs to die ASAP. The only channel he should receive on that TV is the TBN network. That way he can pray to the Lord all day for mercy on his pitiful soul. Can't believe he didn't die when he was shot.
This turns my stomach.....I hope when one of SPD officers pull over someone from the officials from that Jail they do not give them any type of courtesy ...
This is the email to the director at the Jail. She is the one who made the decision to allow him the television. I think that the family of our fallen brother is pretty damn lonely without their loved one. And there is no cure for what effects that loneliness is doing to them. This is the anniversary of Officer Brenton's death. Lets show them how we can support him.
I also agree that this killer does not deserve any perks behind bars, but there has to be some sort of agreed medium found to help the corrections officials and their officers handle him appropriately. Perhaps only piping in the Weather Channel and Christian broadcasting stations (TBN, GOD TV, etc) might eventually have a positive effect on his interactions with the staff, making their jobs MUCH easier. But definitely having the staff control every aspect (which types of programs are accessed, useage times..)
I don't give a hoot what the effects of long-term incarceration are on Monfort. Officer Brenton's family will have live on without him long after Monfort has died in prison.

"His right eye is half-closed, possibly from the bullet wound to his face."
I don't know why, but I did find that a little bit funny.
