Dangerous and an already contaminated crime scene. I think they were lucky to get that much time at all considering the circumstances in that region.

Negative. That embassy is our sovereign soil. I am pretty sure when we measure, ours (meaning military) is bigger than theirs. It just takes leadership to pull the trigger.

I imagine it's difficult to investigate anything properly when you're kept away from the scene for weeks following the crime. I remember some official from the Libyan government saying that our people needed to wait while theirs did "their thing"--which I can only assume was to make it impossible for our guys to collect anything useful when they were finally allowed on the scene.

4 dead and only there for 12 hours?? Really??? Backing down and bowing out is certainly a theme in certain parts of the world for us now. The actions of the past 4 years have set us back half a century.
