I saw the same thing that was posted here. It goes by quick, but you can see someone else throw the liquid at about the 2 second mark.
foxblood: Typical ignorant BS from you. You actually can see what's going on behind the officer whereas he could not--so this makes this all the more ignorant. He turned around and likely presumed because she was holding a bottle that she was the offender. The video clearly shows she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The woman clearly deserved to be hit. Water could be LSD or something else. Even if someone near her threw it the officer has a right to defend his life.

and where is the rest of the video, why does it only show part of the lieutenants reaction and attempt to grab the female offender-and to mz66, please post where you saw the entire video, i am sure we would all like to see it to form an opinion

I saw this video. Nope, indefensible. Evidently command staff that needs to stay behind a desk. Even if the victim had been the one that threw the water, I'd question whether that was a measured response.
