Too freaking bad. The guy was a scumbag and not only not supposed to have a gun, he had one and actually tried to shoot an Officer. They should have killed him DRT!

As a probation/parole officer myself, my heart goes out to my brothers and sisters in Ca that are trying to do a decent job. When your state dumps hundreds of offenders on the street, and not only doesn't increase officers but CUTS your budget what do you expect to happen? I have talked to officers in Ca., not only they are overwhelmed by the case loads, but they get no back up from the court system. In my state, that offender would go back to prison, I wonder what happened to him there. Sanctions only?

GOD help (and bless) the LE officers out there in the liberal Nation-State of California -- they need all the support they can get from the rest of the country, because it seems though they are DEFINITELY NOT getting much of it from their citizenry.
Just an idea: why not organize a group of law-abiding and LE-supporting citizens into a counter-protest, with signs stating how STUPID the other protesters are for vandalizing community businesses in support of a law-breaking, gang-banging armed felon who would most certainly mug any one of them in the drop of a ballcap if given the chance..??)

I have a 1958 Romanian SKS, so far from an M4 but shooting is shooting, and it takes practice. I would love to get expert, and do what I can now in order to have a chance at Sniper school. I'd love to be a marksman.
