    Had this happen to me years ago in Salinas. I saw the kid literally throw the rock as I was approaching an overpass and couldn't dodge it. The small rock put a 3" dent in my windshield. I called CHP and they did nothing. The kid's parents did nothing either and they watched him throw the rock. Glad they caught these punks.
