Feds shut down criminal investigation of Arpaio, Thomas; no charges to be filed

Hopefully now they will leave the Sheriff alone.

Using the power if the federal government in trying to intimidate a locally elected law enforcement officer to back off an investigation once probable cause had been established. Welcome to the USSA komrades! When people live in fear of the government people are no longer free. I guess we could call it the "new normal" or maybe we could try to change it come November.......I prefer the latter.

Sheriff Joe is not a Dumb officer and has the courage to stand by his convictions! Now maybe if the Media would look closer at his Posse investigations and see the reasonable suspicion and probable cause!

This whole investigation was little more than a political Witch Hunt in order to intimidate Arpaio and to get him to back off his position on illegal immigrants. This is not what the Federal Government should be concentrating on, they should be taking the lead in controlling illegal immigration, not using it as a political football to pander to the Hispanic voters.
