George Zimmerman's wife charged with perjury

Bond is supposed to be used to ensure the person shows up for court, period. It is not supposed to be used to take all their money or punish them with fees which apparently is being done. Zimmerman does not appear to be a flight risk at all. He is established in his community and has always been cooperative with law enforcement. What are they going to do in the next bond hearing take ALL his money and leave them penniless? If he gets a bail bondsman he is still, even if he follows all the courts requirements and shows up for trial, he is going to have to forfeit what, 10% of the money to the bondsman? That means originally they would owe the bondsman $15,000! If he is found not guilty he isn't going to get that money back, he is still being punished or fined or whatever you wish to call it $15,000! So hat does this judge want to do? Place a higher bond on him of what? $250,000, $500,000 or $1 million? 10% of a million means that it is going to cost George Zimmerman $100,000 even if he is an innocent man. That simply is not fair.

Zimmerman gets more believable by the day....sad.

These two are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Another article mentions Zimmerman's June 29 bond hearing and the likelihood he'll be denied.

Uh, yeah. Can we say "flight risk"?
